A gathering of members past and present and a guest celebrity celebrating in the studio of RWW on Thursday 26th April

What a great few days for RWW with the party on Thursday evening with past and present members two fundraisers Peter and Brian and local celebrity from Britain’s Got Talent David J Watson present . Mike, Barry and Jim received HBA 10 year service certificates and Alan received a certificate in recognition of 19 years as a member. Then today (Saturday) an open afternoon in the Studio with staff and visitors popping into the studio to celebrate 30 years of broadcasting in Trafford General Hospital.

April 26th Radio Wishing Well celebrates it 30th Anniversary of broadcasting to patients in Trafford General Hospital. The station will be marking the occasion with past and present volunteers and invited guests gathering in the studio on the Thursday evening, then on Saturday 28th all are welcome between 2pm and 4pm to visit the studios of RWW to have an up close look at behind the scenes and the work the volunteers at RWW do.

2012 Easter egg givaway

Easter Monday afternoon quite a few volunteers turn up along with ‘Tricky the rabbit’ to hand out eggs to the patients and chocolates to the visiting friends and family of the patients.

Dave is on the committee of RWW holding the position of Studio Manager (Mr Fix It and sometimes bodge it!) and joined RWW in 2000. You can listen to his show on a Wednesday night with DAT’s 80’s the decade.
